Woof woof, woof woof woof, woof woof, woof. You know this is silly right. I'm a Wirehaired Vizsla originally from Craven Arms who had a penchant for apple when I was a wee boy.
In 2010 I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/ME and one of the common side effects is gluten intolerance. Nevermind being completelty bed bound for 6 months, I couldn't even drink beer! So I started to replace beer for cider. This went down the usual beginners road from Strongbow and Kopparberg, then moving on to Thatcher's and Weston's. Now I try to to find any and all craft cider/perry that I can get my hands on.
In the last few years I've been crafting cider recipes that you are hopefully tasting today!
Starting year 1, we will be donating 10% of profits to The ME Association. As mentioned above it is something very close to my heart and I had always envisaged giving a portion of profits to the charity. Over time I hope we can increase the amount we give as a percentage of our profits and whole amount. Further adding a local charity each year, starting year 2, to split the overall amount. Suggestions are very much welcome so please email in with a cheshire based charity close to your heart.
